How do I know I can trust a
hauler? You are responsible for communicating with your hauler prior to
awarding a shipment. You may use a variety of means to decide if a
particular hauler is reputable. You may ask questions regarding the
haulers equipment, practices, insurance and licensing status and read
feedback left by prior customers. FindAHauler.com does not review or
verify the accuracy of feedback so be sure to use your own judgment.
You may also find it useful to choose haulers that are listed in our
Transport Directory -
these haulers will have a detailed public profile and may have been reviewed
by others.
How many bids will I receive on my RFQ?
We have hundreds of qualified transportation companies registered to
bid, however this does not guarantee how many haulers will respond to your
specific project. A typical range is from 1 - 20 haulers will bid on
any given project.
How do I communicate with haulers?
If you place an RFQ in our job board, haulers that are interested in bidding
on your project will contact you directly either by e-mail or phone.
This is the easiest way to work out all of the details of your particular
job, and get you the best price. If you don't have time to wait for
haulers to contact you, you may also browse our
Transport Directory, and
contact any haulers directly for quotes. Either way, you will have the
opportunity to get your best shipping price.
How do I choose a hauler for my project?
You may hire a hauler at any time you like. There are no time limits,
or difficult processes to go through, simply receive quotes, and hire the
hauler you want, when you want. How do I pay a Hauler? You may
make payment arrangements with your hauler.
How do I rate a Hauler? If
your hauler is listed in our
Transport Directory, you
may leave a rating describing the service you received. It is
important to rate your hauler because this lets other shippers know what
kind of service to expect from a hauler before accepting a bid. Once
you have rated a hauler, he will have the option of rating you as a shipper.
